Non-Uniform Day & Other CAFOD Fundraising this October

As part of our mission to take action for the poor and vulnerable, we’ve got several fundraising events coming up:

CAFOD Family Fast Day:

Friday 10 October

Children can wear non-school uniform and bring in a donation to support CAFOD. Family Fast Day is a special occasion organised by CAFOD where families and communities are invited to come together in solidarity with those around the world who are living in poverty. It’s a day to reflect and take action—often by giving up a meal or making a donation—to help support CAFOD’s work in tackling hunger, injustice, and inequality. It’s also an opportunity to talk with children about compassion, gratitude, and the importance of helping others. We are asking for a minimum donation of £1.

Harvest Foodbank Collection:
Week OF
13 October

We’ll be collecting non-perishable food items to support our local foodbank.

Thank you in advance for your generosity – this is a really important charity supporting people in our Southam community!

Year 5 Bake Sale:
Friday
17 October
Please send in donations of cakes or biscuits. Children can bring 50p or £1 to buy a treat — all proceeds will also go to CAFOD. CAFOD are asking schools to raise money to help provide running water to schools and communities that do not have this.
